I stumbled across the incredible music of Iasos (pronounced "ya-sos") recently. He is one of the original founders of "New Age" music. When you listen to samples of some of his mind-blowing, ethereal music, you will understand why his objectives are more than just to entertain you. He says that his music can help nourish your soul, help you resonate with your true self, and raise your vibration. Sound a little fluffy? I might have thought so too before hearing his music and seeing him explain how musical resonation can cause materials to vibrate in sync. (See How Sound Can Induce Higher Consciousness.) If you've ever gotten a frisson from good music, you have first hand experience of how music can affect you physically.
